These terms and conditions apply to makeup services provided by Amber Lee ABN: 65812107721 to you. Upon booking a makeup application with Amber Lee and its sub-contractors or affiliates, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

MAKING A BOOKING

Booking a makeup application can be made up to 1 day before if places are still available. Booking is fully secure upon email confirmation of payment of a deposit.

WEDDING HAIR/ MAKEUP BOOKINGS

All Wedding makeup Bookings Require 50% upfront deposit to secure your reservation and require a minimum of 6 weeks notice to cancel your booking, otherwise, your deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee. 50% deposit withheld for group bookings.

HAIR /MAKEUP APPOINTMENTS

All makeup appointments and bridal trials require a 30% – 50% deposit, and a minimum of 14 Days to reschedule your booking, otherwise, your deposit will be charged as a cancellation fee.

LARGE BOOKINGS

One or more assistant artists will be required for large bookings under these variations;
Bookings that exceed 2x hair and makeups or 6 individual hair and/or makeup services.
Where there isn’t enough time to get everyone ready in the available time frame.
If the venue has access time restrictions.
To offer a later/more relaxed start time.
The fee to book and secure an assistant artist for the wedding day depends on how many are needed.
If an assistant is needed for a trial – travel will be charged as per the standard trial travel costs stated above.

PAYMENT

Once a deposit has been received to the nominated account, (an invoice) will be sent to your email. The balance stated is to be finalized the 1 week or prior to your appointment or wedding booking. Payment types include Direct Deposit into nominated account.
(please make sure this is completed early to avoid waiting times on weekends)

Should a direct deposit payment method be chosen, you are required to email [email protected] for a payment receipt provided to you by your bank.

CANCELLED BOOKINGS

To secure your booking, a deposit payment is required at the time of booking. If for any reason you need to cancel your hair- makeup application, please notify us in accordance with the details listed in the Services above. At that time, we will reschedule your booking.

ADMIN FEE

You will be obliged to pay a cancellation fee of 10% of the cost of the service , for any cancellation outside the terms of the cancellation policy without any extenuating circumstances.

TRAVEL

Travel Fee is applicable when traveling to onsite locations , a quote can be provided upon your request.

PARKING

In circumstances when parking fees apply, the client will be required to cover the charges when makeup services are being conducted, for example, hotel parking and meter parking.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Amber Lee requires information on whether the client has allergies. In no event shall Amber Lee have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterized, for example, eczema, sensitive skin, and eyes.

PHOTOGRAPHS

Amber Lee reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of our make-up applications, and may use any such photographs for promotional and/or commercial purposes – only with your written consent, of course!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Bridal trials will take place at your home or in studio
Travel expenses will be charged at $50 and parking charges apply where necessary.
All bridal services include individual eyelash applications on request.
Bridal party trials need to be booked on the same day as the bride’s trial, otherwise, bridal trial prices will apply.
The junior bridesmaid service is ideal for young bridesmaids (10-13 years old) requiring hair and light makeup. The service is limited to 60 min max for both hair and makeup.
The flower girl hair service is ideal for very young bridesmaid’s simple hair styling such as curls and braids. The service is limited to 25 mins max.
Bridal party hair services may be subject to a reduced fee if the hair is jaw length or above. Please enquire for further information.
The additional artist fee may be added for larger parties or early ceremony times where an extra artist may be required. This is to ensure that everybody is finished in plenty of time and without rushing.
A minimum booking of bridal hair and makeup plus one other adult for hair and makeup may apply to peak dates

Consultation

Here we will discuss your hair and makeup needs and schedule both a practice run and wedding day service. Our 48 hour notice holding period will be discussed & a 30%- 50% deposit for all services will be collected. Since summer weekend dates are always in short supply, we recommend you book your wedding services at least 4 months in advance.
